Even though many of the new private engineering colleges are in district head quarters and more than 5.3 million graduates and post-graduates are still searching for a livelihood. Still corporates claim severe talent shortage.
We believe that a great divide exists between the “Job Aspirant” and “the right job”. It is our mission to bridge this gap through employability enhancement programs. Konfidance was started by Mr. Kishan Kumar and Mr. KrishnaSwamy, both graduates from Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) after forfeiting lucrative MNC campus jobs. During the last couple of years Konfidance have carved out a niche for itself by focusing on employability enhancement training programs. The Unique Course Design and Delivery Model
- The program is designed as a 100hr program.
- It will be delivered in 3 hour sessions [Monday through Friday]
- It will be completed in 7 weeks.
- Batch size will be limited to 30 students
Some features of the 100 hr course
- Aptitude tests designed in tune with screening tests of companies. [Comparative ranking will be provided to the test takers so as to know their relative standing vis-à-vis other students. Benchmarking against the best allows the students to know the level of effort they need to put in order to be among the top performers]
- It includes training towards approaching aptitude tests. [Here we look at test taking techniques and ways to improve the performance in aptitude tests]
- It builds verbal, non-verbal and analytical skills of participants. [The basic theory and fundamentals behind the common test areas of verbal, quantitative ability and analytical ability are covered]
- Soft skill improvement modules will be intermingled with aptitude training modules. [These include Public Speech / Extempore, Group Discussions and Debates. Students will be divided into small teams for communication activities so as to foster a healthy competitive spirit among the participants. Feedback based on individual performance and corrective measures would be suggested. Methods to generate more ideas during the discussion would be demonstrated.]
- Reading and Presentation sessions [Students will make presentations to the class, the theme being current affairs and social issues. This serves the purpose of improving the communication skills, elevating overall information level of the batch and makes the participants more confident]
- Personal Interviews: Detailed analysis on the HR interviews would be done and methods for preparing for the same would be looked into. Personal interview experience will be offered to all the candidates.
- Moreover, in these training sessions, students will Practice to perfection, Work in small groups, learn and experience the smarter ways to get employed in the right job, Meet and interact with people from different industries
